Well, the journey begins. The rituals remind me of so many previous trips and the habits to which I’ve become accustomed. In the last few years, I’ve taken to wearing very comfortable clothes for the airport visiting this “day” entails and no makeup! I don’t have too much time in the Frankfurt airport, but it may be good to wash my face and brush my teeth in an airport loo.
My driver was early to pick me up this morning, so I have some extra time in the airport. I enjoyed a good lunch, wrote some in my journal, and now am waiting at my gate.
